From zero to policy in five minutes
No user account, no sales calls, no scanned documents. The form, an email code and card payment.
1. Fill in your details as in your passport
The policy is a legal document that the Border Guard compares with your passport. Write your name and surname in Latin letters, without accents, exactly as they appear on the data page. You also need your date of birth, passport number, an email you can access during the trip and a phone number with international prefix.
If several of you are travelling, add each companion to the same policy. Each person appears with their own details and receives full cover.
2. Choose the entry date and the days
Cover starts on the entry date you choose and lasts the number of days you select, from 3 to 180. If you do not know the exact return date, leave a margin: the Border Guard checks that the policy covers the whole planned stay, and an extra day costs little more than a euro.
3. Choose the plan
Both plans have the same cover: medical assistance, hospitalisation, ambulance, emergency dental care, medical evacuation, damage from military action and repatriation. The difference is the insured sum: Basic, €3,000; Extended, €30,000. Choose Extended if your organisation or employer requires a minimum cover or if the stay is long.
Radiation protection is an option on either plan and multiplies the price by 3.5.
4. Confirm your email with the code
When you submit the form, the insurer sends a 4-digit code to the email you provided. It verifies the policy will reach a real inbox. If it does not show up within a minute, check Spam and Gmail's Promotions tab; you can also resend it.
5. Pay by card and receive the PDF
Payment goes through the WayForPay gateway, with encryption and 3-D Secure. Visa, Mastercard, Apple Pay and Google Pay are accepted. We never see or store your card details.
After payment you return to our confirmation page, where you can download the policy. The same PDF reaches your email within minutes. Save it on your phone: at the border, showing it on screen is enough, no need to print.
