Terms of purchase

These terms govern the online service for purchasing the medical insurance policy for Ukraine through seguroucrania.es. By clicking "Confirm and pay" you accept them.

1. Parties

The service is provided by LLC "WELCOME TO UKRAINE" (hereinafter, "the agent") as an authorised agent of PJSC "EUROINS Ukraine" (hereinafter, "the insurer"). The insurance contract is concluded between the user and the insurer; its general conditions are accepted on the form and are available in PDF before payment.

2. Subject matter

Issuance of a travel medical insurance policy valid in the territory of Ukraine, under the Basic plan (€3,000 limit) or the Extended plan (€30,000 limit), for the period and the persons specified by the user. The policy satisfies the insurance requirement for the entry of foreign nationals into Ukraine.

3. Price and payment

  • The price is displayed in euros before payment and includes the insurance premium and a service fee of 8%. There are no other charges by the agent.
  • Payment is made by card through the WayForPay gateway. The agent has no access to the card details.
  • The card-issuing bank may apply international payment fees that are beyond the agent's control.

4. Issuance and delivery

After payment, the insurer issues the policy and sends it in PDF to the email address provided, normally in under 5 minutes. The document can also be downloaded from the confirmation page. The policy is valid in electronic form; there is no need to print it.

5. User obligations

  • Provide the details exactly as they appear in the passport, in Latin letters.
  • Specify an entry date and a duration that cover the entire planned stay in Ukraine.
  • Read the terms of the insurance contract and the exclusions before paying.

The agent is not liable for refusal of entry or refusal of cover caused by incorrect details or by dates that do not cover the actual stay.

6. Right of withdrawal and cancellation

You may cancel the policy and obtain a full refund before the start date of cover, in accordance with the refund policy. Once cover has started, the service is deemed to have been performed and no refund is due, pursuant to Art. 103(a) of Royal Legislative Decree 1/2007 (Real Decreto Legislativo 1/2007).

7. Claims

Medical assistance is requested by calling the 24-hour telephone number stated on the policy. The terms of cover, exclusions, excesses and reimbursement procedure are those of the insurance contract with the insurer. The agent assists with communication but does not decide on benefits.

8. Liability

The agent's liability is limited to the amount of the service fee charged. The agent is not liable for the security situation in Ukraine or for changes in entry requirements.

9. Complaints and applicable law

Complaints about the agent's service are to be sent to info@insuranceforvisitukraine.com and are answered within a maximum of 15 days. Complaints about the insurance contract are to be addressed to the insurer and, where applicable, to the National Bank of Ukraine as regulator. For consumers resident in Spain, these terms are interpreted in accordance with Spanish consumer law.
